Overview
A well established, family run pharmacy business based in Accrington, offering a friendly working environment, are looking for an enthusiastic part time Accounts Assistant to join the small team in Head Office, ideally with Sage 50 and Excel experience. The hours are 16 hours minimum which can be flexible and could lead to extra hours. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to take on a varied role.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Bank reconciliation
- Checking and entering takings and other income sources.
- Producing payment lists.
- Ad hoc duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is essential.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Excellent organisational abilities with a capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary will be dependent on experience and will be pro rata.
