Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using freshly imported Italian produce.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing up and equipment maintenance alongside EHO & food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, maintaining excellent customer service standards at a high volume
- Producing and overseeing consistent quality at speed in a fast pace kitchen
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting - especially with pizzas
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation and preparation
- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a high volume enviorment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings if necessary
