About the Role
LinkTree Housing is looking for a reliable, professional and caring individual based in or near Stoke-on-Trent to support with tenant onboarding, tenant welfare visits and general housing-related admin.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, confident speaking to people, and comfortable working with tenants who may need extra support with housing, benefits and day-to-day communication.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Meeting and onboarding new tenants into accommodation
- Helping tenants understand house rules and move-in requirements
- Supporting tenants with Universal Credit journal updates, where consent and correct authorisation are in place
- Assisting tenants with uploading relevant housing information to their UC journal
- Visiting tenants regularly to check how they are getting on
- Reporting any welfare, property or maintenance concerns to management
- Keeping clear notes after each visit or tenant interaction
- Helping ensure tenants are settled, safe and following accommodation rules
- Liaising with the office team regarding tenant progress, issues or updates
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Good communication skills
- A caring and patient approach
- Strong organisation and note-taking skills
- Basic IT/admin skills
- Confidence using phones, apps and online systems
- Ability to work independently and report back clearly
- A professional and respectful attitude towards tenants
- Previous experience in housing, support work, care, admin or benefits support would be helpful but is not essential

This role does not involve giving formal benefits advice. Any Universal Credit journal support must be done with the tenant’s permission and in line with company procedures.

Pay: £24,420.00-£44,436.05 per year
