Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented PUB CLEANER to keep our pub environment spotless and welcoming. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across all areas of the pub, ensuring a safe and hygienic space for staff and patrons alike. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude.
This is a part time role and would suit someone looking to work 3-4 mornings a week from Tuesday-Sunday from 9am-midday.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, tables, bar counters, restrooms, and other public areas to ensure they are clean and sanitized.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks during scheduled intervals or after events.
- Support the team by maintaining a tidy workspace and adhering to hygiene standards at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a busy pub setting.
