dogooder.io — Charity technology platform
ABOUT DO GOODER
Do Gooder is an all-in-one technology platform that helps small and mid-sized charities manage their donors, fundraising, and marketing in one place - replacing the clunky spreadsheets and disconnected tools that eat up charities' time and money. Our platform combines a website builder, donor CRM, secure payments, marketing automation and AI-powered reporting, backed by hands-on support from our UK team.
We're growing, and we need someone brilliant to sit at the centre of that growth - the person our charity clients meet first, lean on most, and trust to keep their account running smoothly.
THE ROLE
This is a hybrid Customer Success role. You'll take new charity clients from sign-up to fully onboarded, become their go-to point of contact for support, and help shape the marketing that brings the next wave of clients through the door. You'll need to be equally comfortable walking a nervous charity trustee through their new CRM, calmly resolving a support ticket, and helping put together an email campaign or case study.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client onboarding: Guide new charities through setup - website, CRM, payments and integrations - so they're confident and fully live as quickly as possible.
- Customer service: Be the first point of contact for client questions and support issues; troubleshoot problems, know when to escalate, and follow through until things are resolved.
- Account management: Build genuine relationships with clients, check in proactively, and spot when someone needs extra help before they have to ask.
- Marketing support: Help write and send client-facing communications (emails, onboarding guides, case studies) and support broader marketing activity that promotes Do Gooder to new charities.
- Organisation & process: Keep onboarding and support running like clockwork - maintain documentation, track client status, and suggest improvements to how we do things.
- Feedback loop: Feed client insights back to the product and marketing teams so Do Gooder keeps improving.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience: 2–5 years in a client-facing role such as customer success, account management, client onboarding, or customer support (SaaS experience is a plus, not essential).
- Communication: Warm, clear and patient with people who aren't tech-savvy - many of our clients are small charity teams, not software experts.
- Organisation: Genuinely organised - you keep track of multiple clients and tasks without things slipping through the cracks.
- Marketing awareness: Comfortable writing client emails or simple marketing content, and understands the basics of what makes a campaign work.
- Problem-solving: Calm under pressure, and takes ownership of a problem until it's actually fixed.
- Values: Genuinely interested in the charity sector and motivated by helping good causes do more good.
