As a Health Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. Please Note: This role does not offer sponsorship
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence support.
- Assisting residents with mobility, transfers, and the use of mobility aids.
- Supporting residents at mealtimes, including feeding assistance where required.
- Monitoring residents’ physical and emotional well-being and reporting changes to senior staff.
- Offering companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Assisting with daily activities and encouraging independence where possible.
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
- Supporting nurses and senior care staff with clinical and non-clinical tasks.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment at all times.
- Following care plans, health and safety guidelines, and infection control procedures
- Treating all residents with respect, dignity, and compassion.
What We’re Looking For.
- 3-6 months’ paid experience in a healthcare setting.
- NISCC registered (or willing to apply)
- Willing to complete an Access NI check
- Genuine compassion and empathy for others.
- Excellent communication skills
- A great team player who can also work independently.
