We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Programme Coordinator to contribute to the delivery of this major, high-profile programme. You will be responsible for providing high quality administrative and coordination support to ensure the effective delivery of programme activities across a complex, multi-partner environment and politically sensitive environment.
The role involves close working with clinicians, operational teams, system partners and other stakeholders, operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support across programme workstreams
- Organise meetings, workshops and events, including agendas and minute-taking
- Maintain programme documentation, action logs and trackers
- Track actions and follow up with stakeholders to ensure delivery
- Support programme reporting, including preparation of papers and presentations
- Assist with risk and issue tracking and escalation
- Support communication across internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records in line with governance and information standards

The Start Well programme represents a significant transformation of maternity, neonatal and paediatric surgical services across North Central London. The Programme Coordinator will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the Start Well Programme, a major transformation programme delivering improvements to maternity, neonatal and paediatric services across North Central London.
The postholder will support the planning and coordination of programme activities, maintain programme documentation and governance records, organise meetings and workshops, monitor actions and milestones, and assist with programme reporting. They will work closely with programme managers and stakeholders across multiple organisations to ensure effective communication, collaboration and delivery of programme objectives.
The role includes supporting risk and issue management, maintaining programme trackers and databases, coordinating governance processes, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with financial administration, including procurement and invoice processing. The postholder will ensure information is accurate, up to date and managed in accordance with organisational and information governance standards.
