We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working across a wide range of environments and disciplines, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services throughout the UK.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of a variety of HVAC systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, retail, and other diverse sites nationwide.
A company van, specialist equipment, and ongoing training will be provided to support your development and ensure you remain at the forefront of industry standards and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC systems.
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on a range of equipment.
- Service, maintain, and repair:
- Air Conditioning Systems
- Heat Recovery Units (HRUs)
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Ventilation Systems
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site personnel.
- Travel extensively throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays where required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
- Strong knowledge of Air Conditioning, HRUs, AHUs, and Ventilation Systems.
- Relevant industry qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- F-Gas certification essential.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within the HVAC industry.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
