Job Overview
Our Client is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing transport operation. We are looking for reliable and professional drivers to support our customers across the UK with general haulage work.
The Role
- Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
- Trunking and general haulage movements
- Day and night shifts available
- Minimal handball involved on most routes
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements (no DD, DR or IN convictions)
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
