Are you a caring, enthusiastic and hard working person looking to make a big impact? We are looking for dedicated and caring Radiology Department assistants to support our Community sites. This role will be based at Haslemere Community Hospital, Milford Community Hospital and Cranleigh Village Hospital when required. The post holder therefore needs to have a car and a valid driving licence.
This is a patient focused role. You will assist out-patients during their time in the radiology department from transferring the patients to and from the departments, greeting them on arrival, assisting with their preparation for the examinations, and helping to provide a pleasant experience.
You will also take on some admin roles which may include, booking patients in for the appointment, stock management and room preparation for Ultrasound, and X ray examinations. Training for all will be provided.
You should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team. Enrolment in Care Certificate training will be included.
