Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial and healthcare environments. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
- Disinfect and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans or specialised sanitation procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in hospital environments or healthcare settings is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks consistently.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise daily duties effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
