Due to continued business growth, we are recruiting for Fire & Security Installation Engineers. Reporting to the installation manager, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of fire and security systems across the
UK.
As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Installation and commissioning of fire and security systems across the UK.
- Ensuring all installation works is completed to the relevant British Standard and workmanship is of high quality.
- Providing and completing handover/commissioning certification, within deadline set by the client.
- Attending and completing system handovers, ensuring a patient approach to the demonstration is adopted.
- Effectively communicate with customers, site managers, installation coordinators and management.
- Attending site meetings when required.
- Assist and liaise with install management to identify training requirements amongst apprentices/junior engineers.
- Ensure all administration requirements are fulfilled and maintained accurately.
- Ensuring yourself and colleagues comply with all health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining your vehicle and stock levels to ensure client demands are met.
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience installing and commissioning fire and security systems is desirable however previous telecommunications or electrical engineering experience will be considered.
- Positive work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Willingness to work away from home.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Professional and presentable.
- Excellent organisational and reporting/communication skills.
- Due to the nature of the company’s business, the successful candidate will be vetted for security reasons.

Basic Salary: Dependant on experience. Excellent earning potential with high volume of overtime available.
Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week (with plenty of overtime available). Travel paid minus ½ hour each way.
Hours of Work: 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Flexibility may be required to support business and client needs.
