Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
- Follow detailed project plans and specifications to achieve desired aesthetic and protective outcomes
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress or any issues encountered
- Drive company vehicles to different job sites safely and efficiently when required
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring smooth finishes and adherence to safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is highly preferred
- Strong driving skills with a valid driver’s license for transportation between sites
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate effectively
- Knowledge of various painting techniques, tools, and safety protocols in a construction setting
- Ability to interpret project plans, technical drawings, and safety guidelines accurately
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as climbing ladders, working at heights, or standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes in every project
