Crumbs Bakery + Cafe is an independent artisan bakery with two busy cafés in Hertfordshire.
We make our sourdough, pastries, cakes and sandwiches from scratch, serve seriously good coffee, and believe that great hospitality is about much more than taking an order.
We’re now looking for several brilliant Baristas to join our Front of House teams.
We have multiple positions available in Watton-at-Stone and one position in Bishop’s Stortford.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who are warm, energetic and genuinely enjoy looking after customers.
You will:
- Make consistently excellent coffee
- Welcome customers and make them feel looked after
- Learn our products and confidently recommend them
- Keep our counters beautiful, full and inviting
- Serve food and prepare sandwiches to Crumbs standards
- Keep the café clean, organised and ready for the next customer
- Notice what needs doing without always waiting to be asked
- Support your teammates when things get busy
- Follow excellent food hygiene and allergen procedures
Barista experience is strongly preferred, but attitude matters enormously to us. If you’re great with people, hardworking and genuinely interested in coffee, we can develop your skills.
