The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing and diagnosing faults on a wide range of electrical and mechanical forklifts and access equipment. This is a mobile role, attending customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance while delivering an excellent level of customer service. You will report directly to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities,
Service, repair and diagnose faults on electrical and mechanical forklift trucks
Operate forklifts for repair, testing and maintenance purposes
Work safely and competently on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
Ensure customer satisfaction by minimising downtime and maintaining high standards of work
Follow company procedures for ordering parts and processing manufacturer warranty claims
Adhere to all Health & Safety policies, procedures and industry standards
Work independently or collaboratively as required

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
An experienced forklift engineer or experienced in a similar role (plant fitter, mechanic, access engineer, REME, etc.)
Skilled across multiple disciplines with strong, safe working practices
Customer-focused with clear and confident communication skills
Able to work well both independently and within a team
In possession of a full UK driving licence
Welding/fabrication experience is desirable, but not essential
Presentable, professional and a positive representative of the company
