Kitchen Porter (Morning Shift)

The Hurt Arms is looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.
This is a key role within the kitchen, ensuring everything is clean, organised and ready for service each day. If you're someone who enjoys keeping things running efficiently, takes pride in high standards and isn't afraid of hard work, we'd love to hear from you.
Hours
- 5 days per week
- 7:00am – 2:00pm
- Includes weekends on a rota basis
Your Responsibilities
- Washing pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Keeping all kitchen areas clean, tidy and hygienic
- Receiving and putting away food deliveries
- Correctly rotating stock and date labelling all food
- Organising fridges, freezers and dry stores
- Emptying bins and maintaining external waste areas
- Assisting with general kitchen cleaning duties
- Supporting the chefs with maintaining an organised, efficient kitchen
- Ensuring all cleaning schedules and food hygiene standards are followed

- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Is reliable, punctual and dependable
- Works well as part of a team
- Previous kitchen porter experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
