HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver Tramper
Location: Skelmersdale, WN8 9TA
Salary: (Monday-Friday) at £14.25/hr
Overtime rates for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Potential earnings per annum: £53000-£65000 (weekly paid)
£30 per night out (if completed)
£5 meal allowance per qualifying shift
WS Tanker Logistics is a specialist UK bulk powder haulier operating within petrochemical, construction and food manufacturing sectors. We are seeking a professional Class 1 tramping driver to join our Skelmersdale operation.
Monday to Friday
Typically 4 nights out per week
Long-distance UK work
The Role
- Bulk powder tanker loading and discharge to customer silos
- Drop and swap work at designated depots
- Commercial tank wash procedures
- Electronic POD and documentation completion
- Daily vehicle checks via electronic system
- Planned route management in line with WTD and driver hours regulations

Requirements
- Valid C+E (Class 1) licence
- Digital tachograph card
- Driver CPC in date
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience (insurance requirement)
- Willingness to tramp 4 nights per week
Initial training is delivered Monday–Friday on days until competent.
