About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cleaner to join our team within a busy manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning offices and administrative areas.
- Cleaning toilets and welfare facilities.
- Sweeping and cleaning walkways and pedestrian areas.
- Operating floor sweepers and floor scrubbers where required.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the workplace.
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a cleaning role, preferably within a commercial, industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work independently and manage cleaning duties effectively.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Health and safety conscious.
- Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Physically able to carry out the duties associated with the role.
Previous experience using industrial sweepers and floor scrubbers would be an advantage.
Working Hours
The role is 24–30 hours per week, with hours negotiable for the right candidate.
Our ideal working pattern is:
- Monday–Thursday: 12:00pm–6:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am–12:00pm
We are happy to discuss alternative working arrangements with suitable candidates. Full training will be provided.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 30.0 per week
