HR & Recruitment Advisor
Upto 30 hours per week / Permanent / From £33,500 depending on experience / Office Based / Stoke-on-Trent
We’re looking for a proactive HR & Recruitment Advisor to join Water Plus, supporting managers with employee relations, recruitment, and generalist HR advice.
This is a great opportunity for someone with HR Advisor/Officer background looking to develop in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance)
- Provide HR advice to managers on policies and employment law
- Support and deliver end-to-end recruitment (advertising, screening, interviews)
- Create job adverts and support attraction strategies
- Coordinate interviews and assessment centres
- Maintain accurate HR and recruitment records
- Support HR projects, reporting and process improvements
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and ER casework
- Recruitment experience (advertising, interviews, screening)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
- Experience with HR systems (e.g. iTrent, Access, Bamboo etc)
Desirable:
- Experience in multiple service sectors including B2C and B2B
- Project management skills / experience
- Coaching and training delivery experience
- Experience of supporting/managing restructure and consultation processes
