Production Operative
Location: Hinckley
Pay: £13.25 per hour, increasing after 3 months
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:45am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm

HSL Recruitment are currently recruiting for a skilled Production Operative to join our client's growing team in Hinckley.
Our client specialises in producing high-quality, bespoke lighting solutions for luxury, residential and specialist sectors. This is a hands-on role where precision, attention to detail and craftsmanship are essential.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for assembling and producing bespoke lighting products to a high standard. The role will involve working with PCBs, fine soldering and component assembly, while following technical drawings and detailed instructions.
You will play an important role in ensuring that every product meets the required quality standards before it leaves the production area.
Key Responsibilities
- PCB assembly and fine soldering
- Assembling electrical and lighting components
- Following technical drawings and detailed instructions
- Ensuring products are assembled accurately and to specification
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working as part of a team to meet production requirements
- Reporting any quality issues or faults to the relevant team member
- Following company health & safety procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience with PCB assembly and soldering
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pride in producing high-quality work
- The ability to read and follow technical drawings
- Good hand skills and the ability to carry out fine, detailed work

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 6:45am – 5:00pm
This is a 4-day working week, giving you Fridays off.
Overtime may be available and candidates may occasionally be required to work on Fridays, depending on business requirements.
