The Role
As part of the continued growth of White Feather Developments Ltd, we are looking for an experienced Joiner/Machinist to join our team on varied bespoke furniture projects and traditional joinery projects. Working with the Joinery shop team and the CAD designers, the role will include working from drawings produced by CAD.
Main Duties
- Manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery.
- Competent person willing to work alone and able to work with others to produce to manufacture furniture.
- Able to work with a wide range of materials, hand tools and machinery to produce high end joinery goods.
- Read drawings and be competent manufacturing process.
- Work well with other joiners in the team.
- Work to the times allowed for projects making sure they come in within the time allocated for the project.
- Working well with others ensuring good housekeeping and treating others how you would like to be treated.
- Overseeing projects within the organisation will be required.
Skills & Experience required
- Highly skilled and competent Joiner/cabinet maker – proof will be required.
- Able to communicate visual and construction details to both workshops and clients.
- Previous experience in bespoke luxury joinery and high-end furniture is essential.
- Excellent time keeping and ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a desire for self-improvement and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
- Excellent skills within the Joinery and carpentry skills.
Machinist role
· Advanced skills required on all machines.
· Run out timber sections, mouldings and cornice to a high detail and accurately for joiners to assemble.
· Methodical.
· Efficient.
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
