Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dental Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing processes
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
