The Department has a substantial research programme, with major funding from Medical Research Council (MRC), Wellcome Trust and National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and provides highly rated medical training in psychiatry. The Head of Department is Professor Belinda Lennox.
You will coordinate the delivery of the OxWell Student Survey, one of England's largest school-based mental health research programmes, supporting high-quality research that informs policy and practice to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

About the Role
The post is funded for 18 months and is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.
You will coordinate the delivery of the OxWell Student Survey, working with schools, local authorities and research partners to ensure the successful delivery of one of England's largest school-based mental health research programmes. You will oversee project planning, stakeholder engagement, governance and day-to-day operations, helping to deliver high-quality research that informs policy and practice to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people.
About You
You will have experience of providing project management or research coordination support within an academic, research or similar environment, together with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and deliver to deadlines. You will be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and experience of working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including researchers, schools, public sector organisations and other external partners. Familiarity with R, including experience working with research datasets is desirable
