Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in a care home setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of those in their care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity are maintained at all times. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing ,toileting and continence care, and mobility.
- Support individuals with eating and drinking and nutrition when required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report incidents, concerns or safeguarding issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure environment for clients and staff.Report changes in health and behaviour to Senior staff.
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential, training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Promote dignity, privacy, choice ,independence and respect in all aspects of care.
- Use moving and handling equipment safely and in accordance with training.
Pay: £13.45 per hour
