THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day production process, including product preparation, labelling, packing, stock movement and basic computer-based tasks. Full training is provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prime and label products in line with work instructions
- Pack finished products accurately and carefully
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Move stock safely between buildings as required
- Support stock organisation and general production tasks
- Complete basic computer tasks using Unleashed inventory software
- Provide cover for the Zund flatbed CNC machine operator when required
- Report faults, inconsistencies, stock issues or equipment problems promptly
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Practical, hands-on ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written instructions accurately
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Physically capable of manual tasks
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, packing or warehouse roles
- Experience using inventory or stock management systems
- Previous machine operating experience
- Experience working in a quality-controlled or regulated environment
