Ideally, you’ll be passionate about sustainability and ethical farming. You’ll care about quality, consistency and team culture, and you’ll want to play a key role in building a positive and inclusive kitchen environment.
What you will be doing
· To lead daily Kitchen service operations, uphold compliance and hygiene standards.
- Prepare fresh produce and ingredients for daily service that power every Pick.Your.Own. salad.
· Supports the Kitchen Manager in the day to day running of the site. This includes but is not limited too, daily ordering, invoicing and stock counts in the absence of Kitchen Manager.
- Assist with prepping and cooking hot and cold food items
- Ensure sufficient stock levels for peak service periods
- Maintain our 5 star EHO rating and food safety standards at all times
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
· Guide Team Members through consistent on-shift leadership, coaching, and accountability.
· Team Leaders are the standard-bearers of P.Y.O.’s values — they ensure procedures are followed precisely, communication flows clearly, and the team delivers an excellent guest experience in a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment.
What We’re Looking For
- 2 + years experience in a QSR or casual dining environment with a minimum of 1 year at supervisor level.
- Ability to steady the ship and prevent issues before they happen
- Confidence in quality food preparation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective Leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- High standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Respectful and conscious when it comes to punctuality and scheduling
