We're looking for a practical, reliable and hardworking Handyman / Handywoman / Caretaker to help maintain our hospitality venues, gardens and event spaces.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll work across our Hospitality Group: Ashfield House, The Wayfarer Brewpub & Dining Rooms, Problem Child Brewing and Problem Child Events, helping keep our sites safe, well-maintained and looking their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across all venues.
- Complete DIY tasks including painting, decorating, carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs.
- Support our gardening team with our Kitchen Garden, grounds maintenance and seasonal outdoor work.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling tents, fencing and equipment for festivals and events.
- Move furniture and equipment between venues when required.
- Carry out routine maintenance checks and report any major repairs.
- Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Practical with good DIY and maintenance skills.
- Reliable, proactive and takes pride in their work.
- Happy working both indoors and outdoors.
- Flexible and willing to support across all areas of the business.
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
A full UK driving licence is preferred, and previous maintenance or caretaking experience would be an advantage.
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
