The Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our installation team. You will play a key role in delivering renewable energy systems to residential and commercial clients, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Job Summary
We are a quickly growing company who specialise in the installation of renewable products such as Air source heat pumps, battery storage and solar panels. We look to provide high quality products and install them to a very high standard to ensure the customer achieves the best results.
We are now seeking a skilled Electrician to join our growing installation team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of solar PV systems and battery storage
- Electrical works associated with air source heat pump installations
- Testing, inspection, and fault finding on renewable energy systems
- Ensuring all installations comply with current regulations and standards (e.g. BS 7671)
- Completing relevant certification and documentation
- Working closely with installation teams and project managers
- Delivering excellent customer service on-site
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols..
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- A full and valid drivers license is required.
- Experience with solar PV and/or battery storage systems (preferred)
- Experience or willingness to learn air source heat pump systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications preferred/required.
- City & Guilds Electrical Installation Certificate Level 3 or Above
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification
- Part P Installation Qualification
- Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) is advantageous
Location:
Within 60 miles of Worksop.
Experience:
- Experience as an electrician is required
& Either
- Experience installing Air Source Heating systems. Minimum 6 months.
- Experience installing Solar PV/battery storage systems. Minimum 6 months.
