Duties
- Develop and implement strategies to promote net zero targets across various programmes and initiatives.
- Lead and supervise teams working on sustainability projects, ensuring objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Organise and facilitate workshops, seminars, and public events to raise awareness about climate change and sustainability.
- Manage administrative tasks related to programme coordination, including scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with public health organisations to integrate health considerations into sustainability efforts.
- Provide educational sessions or training on environmental topics, fostering community participation and awareness.
Experience
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the capacity to motivate teams and influence stakeholders.
- Experience in marketing or social media management to effectively communicate sustainability messages.
- Fundraising experience is desirable, with knowledge of grant applications or donor engagement.
- Administrative experience in managing schedules, reports, or programme documentation.
- Familiarity with public health principles related to environmental impact is advantageous.
- Teaching or educational experience related to environmental issues or community outreach is a plus. Pay: £27,588.00-£41,092.00 per year
