We are looking for a reliable and passionate Café Chef to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing fresh, high-quality café food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast, brunch, lunch, and light meal options.
- Prepare sandwiches, paninis, salads, baked potatoes, and daily specials.
- Ensure all meals are prepared to a high standard and presented attractively.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering food and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Follow all health and safety and food hygiene procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Café Chef or Chef is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- A Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage.
