SUMMARY
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Early Years practitioner to further develop their career through a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship. You will build on your existing childcare knowledge while developing leadership, mentoring, and curriculum planning skills within a supportive nursery environment.
The role is ideal for someone who already holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification and is passionate about delivering high-quality childcare while supporting children's learning and development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Lead and support high-quality learning experiences for children
- Supervise and support children's learning and development
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Mentor and support junior staff where appropriate
- Assist with planning, observing, and assessing children's development
- Promote safeguarding, health, safety, and wellbeing at all times
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality
- Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, training, parents' evenings, and professional development
- Work collaboratively as part of the nursery leadership team
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
- Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
- Study towards the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner qualification
- Develop leadership, mentoring, and management skills
- Gain advanced knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and curriculum planning
- Build the skills required to progress into senior childcare roles
REQUIREMENTS
Desired Qualifications
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent) is essential
- GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade 4/C or above) preferred
