Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity within their own homes or care facilities.
- Follow individual care plans to ensure personalised support is delivered effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates and address concerns.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in care practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- A caring attitude, patience, and the ability to empathise with clients are crucial for success in this role.
