Duties
- Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards
- Serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining areas
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure all health regulations are adhered to
- Upsell additional items such as drinks or snacks to enhance customer experience and sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing stock levels
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong time management skills are essential for maintaining efficiency during peak hours
- Ability to upsell products confidently to maximise sales opportunities
