Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to supervise the day-to-day operations and capacity of the company's production facility, leading an established team across our production lines, in achieving company goals for safety, quality, output, and cost.
Duties
- Supervision of the team to ensure best practice methods are used to achieve the business goals
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the production, in accordance with the company expectations completing orders on time, in full and defect free
- Assess production workload and prioritising and allocating resources as required
- Assist the production team in a hands-on capacity
- Overseeing the company's production warehouse and plant, ensuring all comply with H&S regulations and food hygiene standards
- Actively seek to minimise wastage in the production area, including materials, consumables, and man-hours
- Ensure appropriate training levels are maintained by all staff
- Support performance management activities, including reviews, absence, and disciplinary matters as required
- Must actively seek opportunities for improvements in all aspects of the production area and production methods
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach to all processes and procedures
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet operational and production demands as required

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a FMCG manufacturing or production environment.
- Oracle, or similar ERP systems experience is advantageous
- Demonstrable knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximising efficiencies and performance
- Food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain) and awareness of relevant health and safety standards
- Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities effectively and motivate a team in a dynamic environment
- Good Microsoft Excel skills. Confident in working with data sets
- Ability to present information to senior management
