Hours: Shifts between 08:00 – 18:00
Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship
Start your career in childcare with Junior Adventures Group (JAG) through this Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship.
This 16-month programme combines hands-on experience in an early years setting with structured training, helping you build the skills needed to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
What You’ll Do
- Support children’s learning through play and daily activities
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
- Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
What You’ll Gain

What We’re Looking For
- Passion for working with young children
- Caring, patient and reliable attitude
- Willingness to learn and complete the full apprenticeship
- UK, EEA or EU residency for the past 3 years
- Ability to obtain a DBS check
Applicants aged 16–18 without GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C) will be supported to achieve these as part of the apprenticeship.
