GPS Limited is a family-run precision sheet metal fabrication company based in Netherton. We manufacture high-quality components and assemblies for customers across a wide range of industries, using modern equipment and taking pride in the quality of everything we produce.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced MIG/TIG Fabricator Welder to join our team.
The Role
You will be working from engineering drawings to fabricate and weld a variety of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium components. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys varied work and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.
What You'll Be Doing
- MIG and TIG welding on a range of fabrication projects.
- Fabricating components from engineering drawings.
- Working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.
- Grinding, finishing and assembling fabricated parts.
- Checking your own work for quality and accuracy.
- Working closely with our production team to meet delivery schedules.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in MIG and TIG welding.
- Fabrication experience within a sheet metal or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
