About the Role
As a Medicines Counter Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our patients and customers. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in ensuring our community receives safe, professional and compassionate care.

What we're looking for
- MCA qualification, or willingness to complete the training.
- Previous customer service or retail experience.
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner.

Your responsibilities will include
- Welcoming patients and customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Responding to patient queries within your level of training.
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Filing and retrieving prescriptions accurately.
- Managing and replenishing retail stock.
- Providing advice on medicines, healthcare products and pharmacy services appropriate to your training.
- Supporting the pharmacy team to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.
