Job Description
Hanoto Technology Ltd is seeking an IT Support Technician Apprentice to join our technical support team. The apprentice will provide first-line IT support to business clients while completing a Level 3 IT Support Technician apprenticeship.
The role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting Microsoft 365, cloud services, networking, cyber security, device setup, user accounts, and general IT infrastructure. The apprentice will assist with client projects, equipment installations, system maintenance, and provide technical support remotely, by telephone, and on-site.
The successful candidate will receive hands-on experience, mentoring, and training from experienced IT professionals while developing technical and customer service skills for a long-term career in IT.
Essential requirement: Full, valid UK driving licence required, as travel to client sites may be required for on-site support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide first-line IT support to business clients and assist with troubleshooting technical issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and connectivity problems.
- Set up and configure computers, user accounts, email accounts, and IT equipment.
- Support networking, cloud services, cyber security, and general IT infrastructure tasks.
- Log, update, and manage support tickets while maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with client projects, equipment installations, system updates, and on-site IT support.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members when required.
- Follow company procedures relating to data protection, cyber security, and client confidentiality.
- Complete apprenticeship training, coursework, and assessments alongside workplace duties.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and at a storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.

Qualifications Required:

- Any basic IT knowledge or experience with computers would be beneficial
