Job Summary

Duties
- Handle materials with care, ensuring safe loading and unloading of goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process shipments efficiently
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications, maintaining high quality standards
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to optimize space and facilitate easy access for team members
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items and report issues promptly
- Support mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or materials handling is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £12.71 per hour
