CRM Booking Agent Administrator

Hours: 8.00am–4:00pm
Salary: £25,000 per year
About the Role
Barry's Locks Ltd is looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused CRM Booking Agent Administrator to join our busy office team in Islington.
This is an important role within the business, responsible for managing customer enquiries, booking and coordinating engineers, maintaining accurate CRM records and helping ensure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly.
The successful candidate will be confident communicating with customers and engineers, highly organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be someone who takes ownership of tasks, uses initiative and is happy to get involved across different areas of the business.
Full training will be provided on our systems and processes.
Reporting Line
You will report directly to the Accounts & Office Manager, who will support your development and ensure you have the training, guidance and resources needed to succeed in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer/client emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage customer/client enquiries from initial contact through to completion.
- Book engineers into appointments using our CRM system.
- Liaise with customers to arrange suitable attendance dates and times.
- Monitor engineer availability and ensure appointments are allocated effectively.
- Raise and maintain accurate job sheets and quotations.
- Update and maintain customer and job records within the CRM system.
- Communicate effectively with engineers and office staff to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
- Follow up outstanding jobs, and customer enquiries where required.
- Ensure information is recorded accurately and consistently across the CRM.
- Identify potential scheduling issues and resolve them proactively.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised office environment.
- Carry out ad hoc administrative and operational duties as required to support the office, engineers and wider business.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
- Confident communicating with customers over the telephone and by email.
- Professional, friendly and customer focused.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
- Confident using computers and Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
- Comfortable learning and using CRM systems.
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive team player who is willing to help wherever required.
Previous administration, customer service, scheduling or coordination experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following industries would be advantageous but is not essential:
Experience using a CRM system, would also be beneficial.
Experience coordinating engineers, tradespeople or field-based staff is desirable, although full training will be provided.
