Overview
We are looking for a Solo Barista to join our team at Take Five Cafe inside No8 Marketplace in the centre of Diss, Norfolk. This is a part time role for 3 days a week and the hours are 9.30-4.30. Friday and Saturday are mandatory with the other day being either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
The ideal candidate will have Barista experience, great customer service skills, be friendly and have a positive work attitude.
This is a solo role between Tuesday-Thursday and then you will be supported on Friday and Saturday by another team member.
Responsibilities
- To open and set up the coffee shop ready for opening
- To engage with customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate ensuring the quality of beverages meets our standards
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment proficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and cafe area
- To clean and close down the coffee area
Requirements
- Previous Barista experience is required
-Basic Maths for handling transactions
- Be confident working in a fast paced environment
- Be confident to work solely
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
