We are seeking an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join the antenatal administration team within Women’s Services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Based primarily at St James’s University Hospital, you will support the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination pathway for pregnant patients. RSV is a common respiratory virus that can cause serious lung infections in babies; vaccination during pregnancy helps protect newborns in their first months of life.
You will coordinate clinics, book appointments, promote vaccine awareness and help maximise clinic utilisation.
You will maintain accurate records, provide clerical and data-entry support, respond professionally to enquiries, assist with meetings and present relevant information at the Obstetrics Access Meeting.
You will communicate confidently, use initiative and place patients at the heart of your work while contributing flexibly to the wider antenatal team. The role includes cross-site working when required, so you must be able to travel between Trust sites independently or use the staff shuttle.
