Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Handyman/woman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on equipment status
- Supervise junior staff or contractors during maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed as and where needed
- Assist in the realisation of projects aimed at improving facility efficiency and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally
- Has a hands on approach and is willing to tackle challenging tasks whilst remaining professional and calm at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance work, with a solid understanding of electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and general building upkeep
- Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical faults safely and effectively
- Leadership experience supervising teams or projects within a maintenance environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
