Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver high-quality care and educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs
- Oversee daily nursery routines, including meal times, play sessions, nap times, and learning activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a secure environment for children and staff
- Support staff training and development to enhance childcare practices and team cohesion
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns promptly
- Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and activity planning
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children's curiosity, independence, and social skills
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to liaise with staff, parents, and external partners
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood development
- Ability to organize schedules, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems proactively
- Passionate about nurturing young children’s growth through engaging activities and positive reinforcement
