Digital Graphic Designer Lead

Purpose
Reporting into the Head of Digital Growth, you’ll be an important part of the global marketing team, working closely with the other designers alongside writers, videographers, digital marketers and campaign managers to create high converting digital assets and compelling graphics, marketing materials, sales collaterals, banners, emails, presentations and more.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years’ experience in graphic design. You will love collaborating with others to share ideas and feedback and be capable of working independently. Additionally, you will enjoy ideating, be organised and have a high attention to detail.
Hours of work
Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm
Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
Create graphic and motion graphic design projects from initial concept and brief to final production – such as social media graphics, internal comms materials, whitepapers, eBooks, infographics, elements for websites etc
Lead on developing our brand guidelines on global briefs maintaining corporate standards across all graphics and optimise our brand position to be relevant by paid and unpaid media channels
Work with external agencies where appropriate to maintain brand standards – ensuring everything is aligned with brand guidelines
Working closely with the wider marketing, UX and sales team and other cross-functional teams to create compelling graphics for maximum impact
Working closely with digital paid media and SEO teams to support in B2B lead, wins and revenue targets, by creating digital assets that drive a high conversion of click throughs, view throughs and form completions
Understanding performance analytics with channels such as Performance Max (Google), display networks such as GDN and Stackadapt, paid social media channels such as via META and email automation to understand performance of your digital assets and leverage data insights to action creative optimisations that drive conversion
Managing a matrix team structure with both multi-media producers and graphic designers with direct management within the UK team and delivery management with designers in CA and ANZ territories aligning to product go-to-market deliverables, spot legislation change comms to always on nurture and lead generation campaigns meeting our sales targets
Understand current market trends when designing for specific audiences and lead on ideation for new creative concepts, application by channel and hero brand campaigns
Lead the creative team to adopt innovative new technologies such as AI to enhance creative outputs
Manage storytelling & storyboards for multi-channel and multi-asset campaigns driving continuity across all channels and applying a funnel approach that drives the “next best action” by the target audience
Key requirements Required skills and experience
Excellent in the Adobe Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign)
Experience in creating templates in Canva
Proficient in AfterEffects would be advantageous
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Self-starting and curious
Experience using AI tooling such as Runway, VEO to create motion graphics and videos
Up to date with design trends on different marketing platforms -
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good time management and prioritisation skills
Ideally hold a BA Hons Degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Digital Design, Art or a directly related field
Basic understanding of commercial design processes and good knowledge of design aesthetics
Understanding of design best optimised for different platforms and marketing channels
Must present a strong portfolio during interview or upon request
