Legionella Risk Assessor

A leading water compliance and consultancy company is looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join its growing team. Duties
- Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
- Complete assessments in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG274 and HTM 04-01 guidance
- Produce detailed digital risk assessment reports and practical recommendations
- Conduct schematic verification and asset validation
- Identify system deficiencies including dead legs, dead ends, TMVs, infrequently used outlets, poor temperature control and water stagnation
- Carry out outlet temperature monitoring and photographic surveys where required
- Liaise professionally with clients, Responsible Persons and site representatives
- Provide technical advice regarding remedial actions and compliance
- Work closely with internal teams to support remedial quotations and project delivery
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments
- Recognised Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (City & Guilds, BOHS P901, WMSoc or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, Water Regulations and domestic hot and cold water systems
- Experience producing digital Legionella Risk Assessment reports
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication, organisation and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
