We are seeking a line cook to join our team at 'Tide by Trenchers' at Bridge Street, Whitby. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and possess a culinary background.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare and cook Starter and Dessert dishes as per the restaurant's menu
- Ensure food is cooked and presented to the highest standards
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Assist in all areas of meal preparation as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
*Skills*
- Proficient in kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary principles
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant setting is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and help in various kitchen tasks
Pay: From £12.91 per hour
