We are now looking to expand our team within the Midlands Division at our Depot - Fenton Industrial Estate, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 2SQ
Workshop duties will include:
- Working with conveyor belts and vulcanising materials
- Preparing and cutting rubber as per the job requirements of the customer
- Using and working with several different processes of vulcanising such as Hot and Cold bonding, cleats, hywall and other rubber profiles.
- Drum Lagging
Site Work will include:
You will then use your experience and training to work on customer sites in and around the Midlands Region working on Quarries and Recycling plants.
Working in teams of 2 you will be required to do the following:
- Working to customer specifications
- Fit & vulcanise conveyor belts at customer sites
- Conveyor Belt repairs – repairing splits, damages, holes
- Conveyor Belt Maintenance – surveys, changing rollers, adjusting scrapers
- Maintenance of conveyor belts at Customer sites
- Attending Breakdown repairs
- Routine site work
The successful candidate will have:
- Full Driving License
- You will also need to be flexible and work overtime and weekends on a rota basis (Weekend overtime is paid at x 1.5 and x2)
- CCNSG Card and SPA Quarry Passport advantageous
Benefits:
Salary dependant upon experience - up to £15.00 per hour
Salary increase on successfully completing 6 monthly probationary review
Overtime - (Weekend overtime is paid at x 1.5 and x2)
Extra supplementary monthly payments
Monthly Rota payment and call payments
24 days annual leave which increases with service up to 25 days per annum in 2027.
