Job Overview

Duties
- Install new electrical systems and components following safety standards and technical specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical wiring, panels, and equipment to identify issues before they escalate
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using hand tools and power tools to diagnose problems accurately
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical parts as needed
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations at all times
- Renewable energy works with solar panels and battery storage
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and grinders safely and effectively
- Strong electrical experience with a solid understanding of circuitry, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and explain technical information clearly
