We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join a busy and fast-paced operation in the Nottingham area. This role involves the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials within the yard using a counterbalance forklift, as well as supporting the wider team with general yard duties.
The successful candidate must hold a valid, in-date, and accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and possess a full UK driving licence.

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.

Loading and unloading vehicles.

Moving, storing, and organising stock within the yard.

Carrying out goods-in and goods-out activities.

Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting any defects.

Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.

Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.

Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Supporting other departments as required.

Valid, in-date, and accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS, or equivalent).

Full UK driving licence.

Previous experience working within a yard, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
